Between 4 and 6 of September, the picturesque city of Plovdiv will host the Bulgarian Beach Volleyball National Championship. The mega event is a culmination point and final stop in this year’s M-Tel Beach Masters tour. The winners will be crowned Bulgarian Champions for 2010.
After a season of top achievements for the Bulgarian players, the M-Tel Beach Masters tour will once again offer a unique spectacle of amazing dives, fantastic strikes and blockades and unforgettable emotions to all fans of the Beach Volleyball in the country. The main draw of the tournament will feature 12 male and 8 female couples who will become known after today’s tough qualifications on the court. The central square of the beautiful city of Plovdiv is an ideal setting for the upcoming competition with crowds just pouring to the stands two days before the official start.
The amazing second place of our best team Neven Neshev and Konstantin Mitev at the CEV Challenger presented by M-Tel is indicative for the quick pace of development of the Beach Volleyball in Bulgaria. This, naturally, raises expectations and the public expects nothing less than significant progress in the near future.
The experience of every visitor on the stadium in Plovdiv is enhanced by the great additional program provided by the organizers and sponsors of the event. Numerous games, prizes, the hottest summer hits and the dancing ballet “Diva” are all meant to provide exceptional emotions.
The tournament will again feature the extraordinary and amusing competition for children – M-Tel Beach Masters Kids. The youngest beach volleyball athletes will play against each other in an attempt to claim the Kids title of Plovdiv. The winner will participate in a demonstrative match against the Kids Champion from Kardzhali earlier in June. The special game will take place before the finals of the National Championship on Monday in front of an ecstatic crowd. This valuable initiative is designed to inspire kids and to make them a part of the beach volleyball family which becomes larger in Bulgaria with every season that follows.
